Speedyvent Came Back To Life!

"The boat racing is back!", Said my youngest sister with full of excitement in her eyes.
"Is it really coming back?" I thought.
AND IT SURE DID! On Sunday, 18th September 2016, Kampong Penabai Kuala Tutong village had arranged a boat racing event for all the four Brunei districts. Different generations in the village had worked so hard together to make this event successful. And all the hard work paid off! I was pleased to hear that the event had such a welcoming feedback.
There were many different types of boat modifications seen during the event. Each modifications determine the speed and the boat's unique look. It was awesome! Now, although boat racing may not be a traditional sport in Brunei, it still brought everyone closer and it was nice to see some families got excited and spent their time well together. It was fun! I really hope that these type of events will be held again and will continue to get strong support from more Bruneian in the future~
