"Do NOT put yourself down. That is not your job, it's theirs..."

Life is an adventure waiting for you to explore. It is not something that can be planned all the time. Sometimes, what you didn't plan would be the best serendipity that could have ever happened in your life! It may turned out to be the WORST day ever at that moment, but sooner or later you will realised eventually how each incidents that happened had made you who you are...

I remember the time when I had this so-called Life Changing Exam that pretty much decide whether I will have a bright future or not (or so I thought it was). Honestly, I was the type of student that always have plans. Things always happened the way I wanted it to be for example, after when I go through my junior high school exam I will go to that class in senior high school and after that I will go to university and take this subjects whatsoever. Then one day, I had to go through this one exam that that will decide whether I will go to university or not. And...

I failed.

I didn't manage to go through the exam.

All of my close friends managed to go through the exam EXCEPT for me.

It was my FIRST time and the BIGGEST moment of my life that never happened as I planned. I never thought it would ever happened. Crazy huh? Well, I cried. Hard! And I remember vividly that I literally felt as if I was surrounded by darkness like being kept in a dark room where I couldn't even see my own hand in front of me! Yes, I know, I was pretty dramatic. But anyway~Long story short, I managed to calm myself down and I retake the exam and finally got into University.

Now when I went into University, I realised I was lost. I had a hard time finding my major and what I am good at, but then everything falls into place at just the right moment. It was neither too late nor too fast. I was very happy. And guess what, only by then I realised that if I had managed to get through the exam earlier in the first place, things might happened too fast for me. Worst, I probably will not be able to graduate on time because I took more time in finding who I was and what I am capable of than my other friends :)

And from this, I also learned that it does not matter how fast or slow you were. It is all about making progress. When others are ahead of you, keep in mind that this is all about YOU. You have to believe that you are capable. Do NOT put yourself down. That is not your job, it's theirs. So, whenever you feel alone and nobody was there to support you, just keep going. It is okay to go for an adventure on your own. Even just for awhile. Because every step that you take is always a step to move forward. Only by then, you will be able to discover what's in front that has been waiting for you...Ready take you for a new adventure.
